Over the past few years, I've had the opportunity to sail to incredible destinations and cross a few oceans.
On these trips I met amazing people, made incredible friendships, and have got to visit some of the most remote places on earth.

In the summer of 2017, I sailed from Panama to Cartagena, through the San Blas Islands, a remote Caribbean paradise inhabited by local communities known as the Guna Yalas. There were 3 of us onboard, and although the waters were mostly calm, we had to tackle some squals: the wind goes from 5 knots to 45 knots in just a few seconds, requiring extremely fast and precise maneuvers to avoid damage to the boat and crew.

In the summer of 2016, I sailed the Norwegian arctic on s/y Fairwinds. This is where my passion for sailing the ice was born. Lead by captain Frederik Molin, we navigated one of the most amazing places in the world, cruising through the norwegian fjiords, crossing the Devil's Dance Floor making a stop in Bear Island, to finally reach Svalbard.
With endless summer days (the sun literally doesn't set) we had no time restriction to visit the most remote shores of the island, encountering polar bears, walruses and beluga whales amongst others.
I crossed the atlantic in July 2015, from the Azores in Portugal to Bermuda on an Outbound 44. Onboard were the captain, a crew member and I. Along the passage, the captain, Tom Fulbright, taught me to navigate with a sextant as well as star navigation.

The Indian Ocean was my first long sailing trip. With 23 students and 7 staff, we sailed from Singapore to Cape Town in 90 days, making a few stops stoping in Indonesia, Christmas Islands, Cocos Keeling, Mauritius and along the coast of South Africa.
